Niamh Kennaugh (pronounced Neeve) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Co-Founder of Integrated Minds Counseling Group. She works with individuals who feel caught in cycles of overthinking, intrusive thoughts, and the pressure to get things “just right.” Her clinical focus includes anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, and the lingering effects of trauma, with an emphasis on helping clients move toward greater steadiness and clarity in their daily lives.

Niamh’s approach is collaborative, grounded, and intentionally paced. She integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, IFS, I-CBT, ERP, and EMDR, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs while maintaining a clear and structured therapeutic direction. Her work centers on helping clients better understand their internal patterns, increase tolerance for uncertainty, and build a more manageable and meaningful relationship with their thoughts and emotions.

Before becoming a therapist, Niamh spent nearly a decade as a certified educator, an experience that continues to inform her ability to translate complex concepts into practical, accessible strategies for growth and change. She holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of South Florida, with a background in Psychology and Maternal & Child Health.

As Co-Founder of Integrated Minds Counseling Group, Niamh is deeply committed to maintaining a standard of care that is both clinically rigorous and thoughtfully supported. She believes that meaningful therapy is strengthened through collaboration, ongoing consultation, and a structured approach to professional development — ensuring that each client receives care that is considered, ethical, and aligned with best practices.

and Expertise

OCD

Anxiety

Supporting clients in breaking cycles of intrusive thoughts and compulsive patterns through structured, evidence-based care.

Helping clients move out of constant overthinking and worry toward greater clarity, flexibility, and steadiness.

Trauma

Perfectionism

Using EMDR and other structured approaches to help the brain reprocess past experiences, reducing their emotional intensity and supporting a greater sense of stability.

Addressing rigid standards and self-imposed pressure to create a more balanced, manageable way of functioning.

My Philosophy

Meaningful progress comes not from eliminating difficult thoughts or emotions, but from changing one’s relationship to them - creating space for a more steady, manageable, and values-driven way of living.
